  10.                organizations, classes, and committees from
  11.                "Organization Processing".

  13.                To begin with "Organization Processing" from the
  14.                "Groups Menu":

  36.                      the "Options Menu" on the "Organization
  37.                      Processing" screen.

  41.                ====

  43.                      Notice the <?>-Help option on the  left  side  of
  44.                      your options menu.
  45.  
  46.                      Press the <?> key now and you  will  see  a  Help
  47.                      window appear.  It   explains   all  the  options
  48.                      available  to  process  organizations.   Use  the
  49.                      <PgDn>  and  <PgUp>  keys  to  see  the  next  or
  50.                      previous Help screen.

  52.                      To exit Help press <Esc> and the Help window will
  53.                      disappear again.

  65.                            except the <Enter>-Choices option, will act
  66.                            on all the organizations in  the list.  The
  67.                            choices   presented   after   selecting the
  68.                            <Enter>-Choices option will act on the pre-
  69.                            selected organization only.

  72.                5.12  Add New Organizations
  73.                =====================
  74.  
  75.                      Adding a new organization is as easy as adding  a
  76.                      new family.
  77.  
  78.                      To add an organization follow these steps:
  79.  
  80.                      A. At the "Organization Processing" screen press
  81.                         <A> and the "Create a New Organization" screen
  82.                         will appear.  Here you enter all the
  83.                         information for the new organization to be
  84.                         added.
  85.  
  86.                      B. Fill in all the blanks.  Begin with the first
  87.                         blank where the cursor appears and fill in the
  88.                         required information.
  89.  
  90.                         - Organization Name:  Fill in the name for the
  91.                           new organization (up to 20 characters long).
  92.                           Duplicate names for organizations cannot be
  93.                           used.
  94.  
  95.                           Press <Enter> or <Tab> to move to the next
  96.                           blank.

  98.                         - Class:  Here you indicate if this
  99.                           organization holds classes.
  100.  
  101.                           Press <Y> if there are classes, otherwise
  102.                           press <N>.

  104.                         - Start Date: Here you type in the date when
  105.                           this Organization first begun its

  191.                         last blank.  All the information is saved and
  192.                         the newly added organization will show on the
  193.                         "Organization Processing" screen in
  194.                         alphabetical order.

  196.                         To add more organizations now repeat steps A
  197.                         through C.  If you are not sure if you already
  198.                         entered an organization into CMS don't worry.
  199.                         CMS will warn you and not let you fill in a
  200.                         name that is already in use by another
  201.                         organization.

  204.                5.13  Reports on Organizations

  207.                      Here you get all the information in CMS about
  208.                      organizations.  You can view these reports on
  209.                      the screen, or send them to the printer, or
  210.                      write them to a file.

  469.                      While the options presented in the options menu
  470.                      affect the list of organizations as a whole, it
  471.                      is possible to work with individual organizations
  472.                      by choosing the <Enter>-Choices option.

  474.                      To see what options are available to work with
  475.                      an individual organization:

  477.                      A. Move your cursor to the organization you want
  478.                         to work with on the "Organization Processing"
  479.                         screen.

  585.                         5.142 Remove an Organization with all its
  586.                               members

  589.                               Just as organizations can be added to
  590.                               the organization list they also can be
  591.                               removed.  For example, you discovered
  592.                               after you entered an organization, that
  593.                               you created a duplicate entry.  Or an
  594.                               organization ceased operation and you
  595.                               want to remove its name from your CMS
  596.                               program.
  597.  
  598.                               To delete an organization with all its
  599.                               members:
  600.  
  601.                               A. At the "Organization Processing"
  602.                                  screen move your cursor to the
  603.                                  organization you want to remove.

  683.                               Here is a quick way to take a look at
  684.                               all the members of an organization.
  685.  
  686.                               To view members of an organization:
  687.  
  688.                               A. At the "Organization Processing"
  689.                                  screen move your cursor to the
  690.                                  organization whose members you
  691.                                  want to view.
  692.  
  693.                               B. Press <Enter> to get to the
  694.                                  "Choices" menu.
  695.  
  696.                               C. Press <V> to select "View Member
  697.                                  List", and press <Enter>.
  698.  
  699.                               If no members for this organization
  700.                               can be found you will be returned to
  701.                               the "Organization Processing" screen.

  703.                               D. If a list of members for this
  704.                                  organization is found a window will
  705.                                  appear with a list of all the members.
  706.                                  Use the <Up> and <Down> cursor keys
  707.                                  to move from name to name, or type
  708.                                  the first letter of the member's last
  709.                                  name you want to locate.

  729.                         5.144 Quick Class Attendance Update for All
  730.                               Members

  733.                               Some organizations hold classes (see
  734.                               chapter 5.12 "Add New Organizations,
  735.                               paragraph B).  Classes are held on
  736.                               Sundays. This option provides a fast
  737.                               and easy way to update your attendance
  738.                               records of all members for a particular
  739.                               class.
  740.  
  741.  
  742.                               A. At the "Organization Processing" screen
  743.                                  move your cursor to the organization
  744.                                  where you want to update the class
  745.                                  attendance records.
  746.

  748.                               B. Press <Enter> to get to the "Choices"
  749.                                  menu.

  751.                               C. Press <Q> to select "Quick Attendance
  752.                                  Update", and press <Enter>.

  754.                               A pickwindow will be displayed with all
  755.                               possible valid Sunday class dates, and
  756.                               the last valid Sunday will be highlighted.
